This project envisions a 22,000 sf alley garage conversion into three condo units in the Petworth neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The project design encapsulates the challenging zoning code restrictions of building construction in D.C.'s alleyways. In order to bypass various height & occupancy limitations, the project proposes a subdivided lot, each with a free standing 2-story condo apartment that appears as a single entity with a continuous roofline. The condo units are each 2BR 2 Ba with access to a mechanical roof deck above. This project is still in the Schematic Design / Design Development phase.
